Design Advice
Our predicted 2021 interior trends to embrace
It’s been a long year, so we have a good reason to rejoice when thinking about the interior design trends coming up in 2021. Interior design trends don’t evolve in a bubble. They are a direct response to world events and 2020 – as they say – was unprecedented.
The ‘new normal’ in design
2020 and coronavirus has completed shifted the narrative of residential design. For years – if not the better part of 2 decades – design has geared towards minimalism and celebrated the details that make up the design. Life is messy: the unexpected places (or not so unexpected) that life shows up
A common problem people face when designing their new space is not how to coordinate colour, cabinetry or whether to choose a gas or induction cooktop, but rather where to store the real life mess that makes up our everyday lives.
